It is a kind of fish which generally spread over the Mediterranean Sea and belongs to Sparidae family. In our country, it is generally seen in Aegean coasts and the south seaside. The ones that have 30-50 grams in weight are called Thin Lidaki, the ones that have 100 grams in weight are called Lidaki, the ones that have 100-180 grams in weight are called Grand Lidaki and the ones that have 200 grams and more in weight are called Sea Bream. Its meat is a little spiny, tough, white and very delicious. It is preferred to be grilled.
