Unioxy Neomycin
UNIOXY NEOMYCIN is indicated for treatment of G.I.T., urinary tract, respiratory infections, enteritis and diarrhea.
Composition (per 1 gm)
• Oxytetracycline HCL 150 mg
• Neomycin Sulphate 100 mg
Indications
- Oxytetracycline inhibits translation, which results in cell death. It binds to the 305 ribosomal subunit and prevents the amino-acyl tRNA from binding to the A site of the ribosome, inhibiting protein synthesis (elongation), Neomycin is bactericidal in action. Similar to other aminoglycosides, it inhibits bacterial protein synthesis through irreversible binding to the 30 S ribosomal subunit of susceptible bacteria.
- UNIOXY NEOMYCIN is highly effective against Mycoplasma, gram-positive bacteria, and
gram-negative bacteria.
- UNIOXY NEOMYCIN is indicated for treatment G.I.T., urinary tract, resplratory infections, enteritis and diarrhea caused by bacterial infection in poultry and other animals.
- UNIOXY NEOMYCIN used for treatment of Air Saculitis, Omphalitis, Infectious Sinusitis, Infectious Synovitis, CRD, Coryza, E.coli, Salmonella, Pasteurella, Clostridia, Rickettsia, and Anaplasma.
Dosage
- Poultry: Preventive: 1 gm per 4 Litres of drinking water.
- Treatment: 1 gm per 2 Litres of drinking water during 3-5 days.
