Isolation Transformer isolates the secondary side from the primary voltage, allowing the safe operation of sensitive devices. The electrical connections are made via the terminals of the selected cross section considering the maximum current. No frequency change capabilities. Therefore, the frequency of the input voltage is the same as the frequency of the output voltage.
Transformers with high input voltage are called as reducers and small transformers are called amplifiers. Also, it is called as auto or isolated transformer according to the common ends of the windings, and they are named as distribution transformer, measurement transformer, lighting transformer according to usage area.
