Permeability and Breathability

Halal nail polishes consist of an open weave. It has been developed on the basis of thermoplastic polymers and chemical formulas that penetrate the paint with other impurities and chemical reactions, penetrating or even entering amorphous regions. The paint has microscopic pathways that allow water particles to penetrate the nails and rest on the nail belt.

Thermoplastic polymers create amorphous regions in the dye. For example, the polyolefin plastomer (POP) is a polymer composed of I-Bute and 1-Octene molecular bonds. This polymer is used in plastic packaging to create breathability. POP is supported by polyethine (PE), which disperses the molecular weight in the chain to prevent the holes from engaging. Of course, chemists can also use different polymers and auxiliaries for the amorphous regions.

Unlike permeable nail varnishes, conventional nail polishes are dominated by crystalline polymers that form the layers of the structure, making it impossible for water to penetrate the nails. The following image provides information about this:New Technology

New nail polishes have been developed with an absorption technology called O2 matrix technology, which you probably know. Some of the places where this technology is used;

Sweat-absorbing sportswear and shoes that allow air particles to penetrate by releasing sweat vapor

Hydrogel contact lenses that allow free passage

Medical products such as tape and plastic that allow skin to breathe

Porous tiles and asphalt that absorb rainwater to the soil

Insulation materials, mud, snow and cold-resistant paints for roof and exterior walls can absorb moisture inside the building.

How can water get into the nail polish?

Unlike ordinary nail polishes, breathable O2M nail varnishes consist of a coating with microscopic holes. We are talking about nanometer gaps in the inner and outer layers of paints.

The outer layer of the nail polish is called a permeable membrane, while the inner structure is porous. These are small holes in the outer layer (permeable membrane), as well as particles in the internal structure of the paint (porous structure) that allow air and water to come into contact.

The actual magic is found in the molecular bond that forms the openings in the nail polish. Thermoplastic polymer is a polymer that is used frequently in breathable nail varnishes. These are small particles; while some of these particles prevent clogging, some others move away from obstacles. The distance between the blocked forms a kind of microscopic passage (in professional language these gaps are called amorphous). These are the amorphous regions that allow water particles to pass through the nail polish and contact the nail belt.

Certificate on breathability:

The water permeability of the minevital breathable nail polish has been scientifically proven by SGS Laboratories.

Tests and certification: SGS Laboratories test many water polish products for safety and functionality testing and certification for water permeability. The aim of SGS Laboratories is to ensure that Minevital products are successful in protecting consumers and meeting their demands.

Inspection: SGS Laboratories perform various inspections before, during and after production, as well as in-store inspections to verify that the raw material, product quality, packaging and presentation are good

ablution

With respect to permeable nail polish, it is important to understand that the argument about halal is based on the porous structure. Permeable nail polish does not stand as a tight structure on the nail. It is porous, ie it has microscopic passages and openings that allow water to pass through the paint and moisten the nail belt.

In fiqh al-tahara (pre-prayer purity ethics), cleaning and water treatment are two important criteria for the validity of ablution. The waterproofing problem of the nail polish is stated in the Hanafi manual Nur al-Idah's English translation. In Nur al-Idah's Wesam Charkawi translation, oily substances such as wax and body oil are compared with nail polish.

These are also mentioned in the original Nur al-Idah script by Hasan Shurunbalali. Shurunbali mentions that waxes and oily substances frustrate ablution.

Allah says: When the believing servant takes ablution and rinses his mouth, wrong behaviors leave him. If he cleans his nose, the wrong behavior leaves him. Leaves your face under false lashes even when washing. If he washes his hands, his wrong actions will leave him, or he will even fall under his fingernails. If he wipes his head, the wrong moves will even leave his ears. And when washing his feet, even under the fingernails of both feet go wrong.

Certifications

SGS air permeable certificate-France

One of the most important elements of obtaining the halal certificate is that the nail polish is permeable to air and water. Minevital nail polishes are certified, the world's most important surveillance, inspection and certification agency SGS, where air and water permeability is 17% higher than its closest competitor and does not contain Dibutyl phthalate (DBP), toluene, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, camphor, xylene, ethyl tosylamide and paraben. Proven by tests by France. SGS Laboratory tests indicate 0.033 in Minevital nail polishes, which means that it takes 15 seconds for the water to pass through the two coatings in the nail polish.

Halal certificate

SGS Laboratory tests indicate 0.033 in Minevital nail polishes, which means that it takes 15 seconds for the water to pass through the two coatings in the nail polish. Minevital products are approved by Turkish agency ISQ, Halal Food Standard and Halal Cosmetic Standard (MS and SMIIC).
