Description: Acrylic Topcoat is a two component, fast drying, acrylic aliphatic isocyanate based glossy topcoat paint.
Topcoat Application: After opening the Acrylic Topcoat package, it is preferably homogenized by mixing thoroughly with a drill motor and mixed with Acrylic Hardener in the specified ratio. Acrylic Thinner is added in the recommended ratio to bring the mixture to application viscosity. It gives the application viscosity of the mixture. (For spraying applications, the application viscosity should be adjusted to 16 ”- 18” / DC4 / 20 ° C) It is recommended to apply the acrylic topcoat to give a dry film thickness of at least 40 - 50 µ. If there is no wet application over the age, 45 minutes should be waited for the second layer application.
Notes:
During Application: Air temperature should be between 5 ° C and 50 ° C, Temperature of the substrate should be between 10 ° C and 30 ° C, Relative Humidity <85%.
Important Reminders :
In order to avoid any health problems or fire hazards, the necessary ventilation should be provided in closed applications. In cases where more than one coat application is desired without wet application, light sanding should be done if 72 hours have passed between the coats. Mixtures of the appropriate amount should be prepared in the order of work and continue until all of this mixture is consumed. At the end of the work, all paint equipment used during the application should be waited for 18 hours before using the painted surface to ensure full curing with Şadol Acrylic Thinner.
