Description
With the shrinkage cone, it is possible to record the shrinkage and expansion behavior of even liquid building materials in the first few minutes and hours after the start of mixing.



The measurement will be done contactless by a laser beam. No mechanical connection to the sample is necessary. The sample container has a special geometry that ensures that the change in the detected distance corresponds exactly to the relative change in length, regardless of whether the sample is still liquid or already solid. The measurement data is resolved in 1/10 micron and will be automatically digitized and processed by the electronics of the Shrinkage Cone. The sample container is hollow and can be connected to a temperature control unit via 2 water connections.
