Application Instructions
Substrate Quality: The application surface must be free of sticking agents such as dust, oil, tar, detergent and mold oil. Loose parts should be removed and the surface should be cleaned with compressed air compressor or vacuum.
Surface Preparation: If there are gaps, swelling and sedimentation on the ground, the surface should be leveled using TEKNOSELF or TEKNOSELF 500. If necessary, priming can be done with TEKNOLATEX 200 depending on the ground condition.
TEKNOBOD 250 is applied to the surface with a saw trowel. Consumption is adjusted according to tread depth of trowel. Within 2 - 3 minutes after the application of TEKNOBOND 250, the PVC coating is adhered to the surface without forming an adhesive film layer. After the adhesion is achieved, it adheres well by applying pressure for a short time.
Notes on Application / Limitations
* For floor heating floors, the heating system must be operated 10 days before the coating and must be switched off during coating.
* For optimum operation, the floor temperature should be between +18 - + 25oC.
* The heater can be restarted 72 hours after installation.
* The layer that may form on the surface during a long storage should be discarded before use.
* All equipment used, immediately after application, yet hardening; Clean with hot water. The cured product can only be cleaned mechanically.
* Hands should be washed with warm water and soap.
* Eye contact should be avoided.
