Definition:
It is two component and epoxy based paint modified with coal tar. It is a to-coat paint, which has excellent adhering feature to concrete surfaces and defend resistance against corrosion and chemicals and can be used on steel and concrete surfaces underground as a top-coat as well as any kind of surfaces.
Application Field:
It is used on any kind of concrete and steel surfaces underground constantly such as pipelines, fuel tanks and tank bottom concretes, storm drains, and pilings. It is used on any kind of concrete and steel structures under marine constantly such as port pilings, launders, dam and regulator caps, pontoons and barges and the parts of marine vessels under water, bilge and ballast tanks. Furthermore, it is used in ports and shipyards and internal surfaces of any kind of pipes delivering chemical waste water and marine water.
Application Type:
Component 2 is added into component 1 and mixed with low-speed mixer. The mixing process is continued until it becomes homogenous (app. 2-3 minutes). After mixing, wait for 10 minutes. After the mixture, it should be used within 5 hours (in ambient temperature). The prepared mixture is applied to the surface subjected to necessary scraping, sanding, washing, and solvent bath, roughening and cleaning processes by means of a brush, roll or airless spray. If the product is applied with brush or roll, it should be diluted with epoxy thinner at a rate of 5-10%. If the ambient temperature is +10°C or below, the application should not be made. The relative humid rate should be max 75% and surface temperature should be minimum +5°C. The curing period is approximately 5 hours in an ambient temperature of 20°C. The first hardening and re-coating period is 24 hours. It is required to comply with this period in order to make coating over product. Final curing of the product is realized 7 days later and the product should not be exposed to any chemical effect during these 7 days.

Storage:
It can be stored in original package in a place of 5-35°C without direct sun light for two years. It should be protected against over-temperature, moisture and frost.

Important Warning:
Components should be mixed well. As the paint cannot be used after expiring the mixture life, small amounts of mixtures should be made by considering the mixture rates in order to avoid from wastage of material. The paint, which hardener is added and becomes surplus after usage, should not be poured to the paint without hardener.
