PWB Series is the water based solution for the market requirements for PVC & Phthalate-Free inks. CW PWB Series inks have been specifically formulated to work easily on the screen. PWB Seies inks may also be used to print conventional cold-peel transfers. Recommended substrates for PWB inks are 100% cotton, and cotton blends.
*Note: It is advised to wait for 24 hours before washing
*Non-Contamination : PWB-Series inks should not be modified or come in contact with any PVC or Phthalate containing ink. Use only recommended additives in order to prevent any contamination. All equipment which comes in contact with PWB Series (like mixing apparatus, squeegees, buckets, flood bars, screens, etc) must be cleaned properly (free of inks or materials which may contaminate the PWB Elastic Water Based Series inks) before every use.

- Bleed Resistance : Excellent
- pH Value : 7.5 – 8.0
- Viscosity (Bases) : 153,000 - 154,000 mPa.s (Brookfield DV-E:spindle;7, rpm:20)
- Viscosity (Whites & Colors : 131,000 – 132,000 mPa.s(Brookfield DV-E:spindle:7, rpm:30)
- Stencil Type : Most direct emulsion stencils are suitable.
- Mesh : 43-90 T (110-230 t/in)
- Coloring : To color PWB whites and bases, it is suggested to add up to 4% (by weight) coloring pigments. However
If more than 4% coloring pigments are to be added, the final mixture should be reinforced with PWB-F44 Fixing Agent and HPW-970 Binder. - Retarder : PWB-R10 Redarding Agent / Upto 3% by weight may be added to soften the hand and retard curing time.
Adding PWB-R10 reduces the viscosity of the ink. - Fixing Agent : PWB-F44 Fixing Agent / Upto 2% by weight (recommended).
May be added to increase fixing on difficult substrates and improving washing fastness.
Adding more than specified will harden the feel and block the screen. - Thickener : PWB-T20 Thickener / Upto 3% by weight
- Curing Information : 150-170°C (302-338°F) / 60-180 seconds
However, factors such as ink film thickness, curing equipment and fabric may influence the optimum cure time. - Storage : 18-30°C (64-86°F). Avoid direct sun.
