Fresh Orange (Navelina)
Originated from California, this species is a bud mutation of Washington Navel, produced in 1910s. Its tree is smaller than Washington Navel's, but it matures faster. The difference is around two weeks. In Spain, during mid-October while its rind color is green, the fruit reaches the minimum quality standards of harvest. Its fruits are a bit smaller than Washington Navel and they are oval. Due to being an early comer, being harvested before the winter colds, and its quality this fruit is a suitable species for Turkey's conditions.
