Description

CERAMIC WOOL

Ceramic wool is a fibrous insulation material used at very high temperatures. It is used for temperatures between 1,200-1,400 ° C where rockwool cannot be used. Rub, plate, found in the form of pouring. White color. Its density varies between 100-150 kg / m3 depending on the shape of the material. It is a soft material and even the plate types do not have high compressive strength. Its most important feature is its ability to withstand high temperatures.

Ceramic wool does not burn. It is not affected by acids other than hydrofluoric acid and phosphoric acid. It is similar to other fibrous materials in terms of wetting and other properties. It is not produced in our country but imported.

Ceramic wool, as in other fibrous materials, rolls, sheets, ropes, etc. in the form. Prefabricated pipes can not be produced.
