Taurine: In cats, taurine cannot be synthesized in the body and must be supplemented from the outside. If the calcium and phosphate needs are not met sufficiently and this balance is deteriorated, it can cause skeletal problems which cannot be corrected for life in the offspring, especially in the fast growing period.
