TERRAFLUID® OH line silicone polymers are crystal clear and odourless, hydroxyl terminated silicone fluids. These top-quality OH-functional polydimethylsiloxanes with terminal silanol groups can react with themselves or with functional silanes in a condensation reaction. They are particularly used as a base component in preaparing silicone rubbers such as RTV silicone sealants and adhesives or RTV silicone rubbers used for molding and moldmaking, for electronic potting and encapsulation, for pad printing, etc.
TERRAFLUID® OH line silicone polymers can be formulated as silicone emulsions for use in textile finishing such as fabric finishing, fiber finishing, elastomeric coating for fiberfill and PES yarn, and in pigment printing. They may produce ideal lustrous effects on almost all materials and allow for special effects to be obtained in elastomeric finishing of fibrefill, knit goods and machine washable wool. They are available with a wide variety of viscosity.
