The B Series represents Bowman's most basic top-down measurement configuration. The sample loader is a fixed base plate that requires operators to manually position the parts in the desired area for testing. This is accomplished using the video image to place the sections in the room and align the desired image within the plus lines on the screen. The sample room is the same as the P Series. P Series (with corrugated configuration but without programmable XY sample stage)
The standard configuration includes a single fixed collimator and the camera has a fixed focal length. The solid state PIN detector is supplied with our long-life micro-focus x-ray tube. As with all Bowman models, components can be upgraded to include multiple collimators, variable focus cameras or SDD detectors.
